Help!

HELP ME!

I'm listening to 80's classics on iTunes!
1st it's Donna Summer, and it's not even
"She Works Hard for the Money"
which at least had feminist socioeconomic value!
No, it's just disco, pure and simple.
Horrible.

Then Lesley Gore sings a new, slower version of
"It's my Party, I can Cry if I want to".
Don't do an operatic version, Lesley!
It just doesn't have that punch.
You need to be screaming about
Johnny walking in the door with Judy wearing his ring!
C'mon, I'm angry! IT'S MY PARTY!

Then come several power-to-the-people ballads.
How did I ever find soul there?

Now Brian Adams is singing
"Straight from the Heart"
from Kevin Costner's Robin Hood.
I remember swooning, oh dear.
How was Kevin Costner handsome; now I don't see it.
Sure wasn't the hair unless it was that mussed look?
Oh, how embarrassing!

At last!!!
David Bowie!

"LET'S DANCE"Treasure of the 80's!
If I say run, he says he'll run with me,
If I say hide, he'll hide!
Crooning at it's finest in the 80's!
And few power chords in there sure don't hurt!

Top that, Kevin Costner!
