more or less than 77 / 47 degrees

Wild happenings at Gopher Flats.
High winds kept me and the doggies
out of the outside, i.e. inside.

Too scary out there.
Frightening and dangerous crashing sounds!
T was away, so I assumed I was underseige.
Perhaps the Olympic torch was being kidnapped
from the accompaning Chinese paramilitary police!
(did you know that para means almost,
as in almost a military police,
as in paraeducator;
almost a teacher, but really just an aide)

But, no, only the empty sunflower seed can,
rolling around, although both umbrellas did go down!

What's with the weather anyway?
Last week: still and 78 degrees farenheit.
Yesterday: 30mph>whatever-strength winds
and 49 degree sunny weather.

Today: 10-15 mph breezes,
33 degrees in the early morning,
47 at noon.

(wind, breeze, what's the difference?
Numbers, maybe?)

This is California weather?!

Please don't tell me what's with the weather.
I just don't want to know that in 2 years
Gopher Flats will be underwater,
which will pour INTO the septic system
through gopher holes,
(as usual)
whilst the gopher themselves
are cuddled up in their clever,
little underground burrow-den thingies.

And I really do not want to speculate on wildlife intrusion.
Polar bears in the orchard,
coyotes in the hedgerow,
black mambas in the ever verdant grass.
Insects everywhere!
Ultimately taking over the world!!

Well, the gophers ought to be there in the end.
Can't picture ants, no matter how many,
finding gophers in their little hide-y holes.
