Actually, Best Buy was free of crowds at 10:30 Saturday morning. Was everybody at home? Was their shopping all done? We've never EVER been to Best Buy without the crowds, I sort of missed them; but not that much.

I guess it helps to do your research first: browse the ad inserts, select the item, compare prices, zip out to the big box, march straight to the counter concerned and have the credit card out and ready.

We were done in record time: the sales guy went to the back to get the item, he described all the accessories, rang them up and had us out of there in 20 minutes flat and that included the warranty sales spieil; awesome warranties that we never fall for but always listen to politely,.

One present down, only about 3 to go. That's the plan this year and it feels pretty wonderful.

Don't plan on attending a big 'ole festival at our house...we're pretty much done around here...except for the tiny Christmas tree we're eyeing. A couple of ornaments. 2 packages underneath. Happy Holidaze!
