Eyes/Crying/Women

"I was alright, for a while.
I could smile for a while."
Roy Orbison

Seeing/Crying/Women

Why do we see? And how do we see?
Moles cannot see very well and they get by.

Helen Keller could not see or hear. Her astounding awareness of our world came by touch, smell, and feeling.

This world sits in color; thrilling us, scaring us, and soothing us.

Tears/Pain/Sadness/Weeping

What are tears?
Everyone knows onions and tears.
Tears come with fear.
Tears run, as do noses with colds.
Agony brings hacking sobs.

Pain sends the fluids rushing out to release stress, to fight disease, to ease burden.

Bodies need touch, closeness. We need to be held to find release.
