All for a 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" trading card?
Look at the floor, my other half says!
Oops, there are puddles of blue under the table and scraps of photos and drawing paper. Things are getting sloppy and creased in smears of paint. The glitter's in the glue, the paint brushes are in the glue, my hands are in the glue and the paint. These fingers are stained green and unfortunately I'm smearing red on the "art". I'm a mess, but happy.
I try to be organized, but I lose control. Materials are crinkled, bent, torn and snipped by mistake. How was I supposed to know the exacto knife would go through the layers of mylar into the matboard underneath?
The muses continue amusing.
The piles of protective newspapers on the table (which were placed there so thoughtfully by my neatly~tweetly spouse) are suddenly needed for a mop~up! Quick! Now the protective plastic pulls up accidentally, which knocks over the jar of water, which splashes on the artwork, which now has become more watery than I'd imagined.
And more blue, too, because although I needed clean water...
I forgot in the "process" of the art.
These works of art have a life of their own!
These works of art have a life of their own!
So now my piece is wet, blue, torn, messy.
It still looks good to me...I was in the Zone! Joy!
Those who criticize just don't get me!
T. tries to understand, he really does.
He loves what I make, but wonders, is the work worth the the discord?
Faith, I say.
This is art for me.
This is art for me.
I wish I could be like other people.
With a clean organized studio; paints lined up, brushes dry and clean, paper in careful piles, modgpodge and paste ready to go, collage items sorted by size, color and weight.
Like Chagall and his encouraging angels of God,

Like Chagall and his encouraging angels of God,
I, too have spiritual counselors.
My spouse might need to talk to Michael,
My spouse might need to talk to Michael,
the archangel, and St. Peter.
Without divine l intervention, there may be no solution to the chaos.

good thing you're letting the angels help out.
Because the results for the Atc's are pretty nice.
