Bob Dylan

Click above for an incredible, old video of Bob Dylan...be patient.

I'm reading his book, Chronicles Vol. 1.

He says he's a poet first and foremost,
always has been, never the stereotype protest singer.

And a family man. He didn't "disappear". He had a family.
And he had enough success to spend time with them.

PBS recently presented a new program, American Masters.

Pretty cool look at an American icon.
Good inspiration for a blocked painter.

For the last few weeks, I've been hitting 'replay' on my car cd player for 'Lay Lady Lay'. I've a tendency to re-play fave tunes (ad nauseum) and that one was my choice for the last weeks.

Thanks for posting the duet of 'Girl From the North Country' with Dylan & Cash. Another favourite of mine! I always LUVED the way their voices complimented each other in such an odd way.

(also watched the dvd of 'Chronicles' about a month ago...very insightful!)
