"kn" Makes a "n" Sound

We're learning about tricky phonics at school.........

Kn is for Knit.
It's pronounced "n"

Kn is for "B is knitting a lacy shawl."

.....

Ph is for phone.
It's pronounced "f".

Ph is for "B, why not knit while you are on the telephone?".

So don't read "ki~nit".
And don't read "pi~ha".

Just knit while you're sunning.
Or phone while you're knitting.

.........Either way is just fine.
