Fast Talker

My chest hurts,
my throat is sore,
my neck is swollen,
my ears are throbbing...
and I can't tell if I have a fever or just hot flashes.


And this is interesting:
I can't talk...at all!
Can't even whisper.

So I've been taking Tylenol, puffing on my inhalers, drinking hot tea, hot soup, and taking hot baths and it's getting really boring.

And I've been typing to my husband.
I can't type as fast as I can talk, so he gets a little impatient with me.
Although, come to think of it, he gets impatient when I can talk, too.

We cancelled Yosemite except for Tuesday night at the Wawona.
They don't give refunds which is rude seeing how they have a waiting list out the door!
Whatever.
Bummer.

If I'm better, we're heading up on Tuesday for the one night.

It's very strange not answering the phone.
So leave a message.
But don't call this fast talker.
Because she can't talk.
