Man, it's great having friends.
It just makes my day,
it just makes my summer!

Summer wrap up:

*Friends who, invited to dinner, barbecued for us
and brought the dog to keep our dog company.
*Friends who loved us even after our dog chomped their dog.

*Friends who visited with grand babies and hung around.
*Friends from down south who stopped by and admired us as we admired them, laughing heartily at our lives, foibles and gifts.

*Friends who asked us over to eat.
*Friends who borrowed furniture.

*Friends who sadly informed us of a serious illness.

*Friends who came to paint in the garden.
*Friends who offered to help with the disastrous wardrobe.
*Friends who came by to fold the darn laundry AND put it away.

*Friends who lent their horses, trusting in my light (hopefully) touch.
*Friends who moved mountains of soil and many heavy, heavy pots.

*Friends who played Pictionary, even though they felt uninspired.
*Friends who encouraged.
*Friends who commiserated.
*Friends who went to see the performing kid.

Aren't we the luckiest ones!
