Try and try as we do,
it's so hard to get a photo of our neighbor ravens.
They are so suspicious!
But, we got a shot of the scurrilous rascals.
They are not shy creatures, no way.
On Friday I saw one raven bothering 3 turkey vultures.
2 headed away high on the warm upwelling thermals and 1 left behind fighting raven snaps at the tail feathers. Suddenly there was dive bomb style from above, with sharp, dangerous (and it is) beak threatening, then swooping up from beneath to attack the underbelly.
Vulture finally got out of there with raven back upon the willow tree, rawking of the adventure, which the family had watched from the redwoods.
Braggart....
But we gotcha!
