Playin' with Pear's Mind

Otherwise known as How to Train the Owner.

Clack, clack, clack down the hall goes the dog.
Breakfast is over, it's 10 to 7 and she's ready for the day.
Clack, clack..........
..............................
pause....................

JUMP up onto the bed!
And now..............
play with the sleeping Pear!

"I had to play push a puppy down,
roll a puppy over,
hide the puppy in the covers and smoosh,
and hold the puppy down."

Pear's awake, let the morning games begin,
jumping, rolling, growling,
all kinds of happy dancing on the bed,
by the dog, I mean.

I've encouraged the Pear to train this puppy!
To turn his back on her,
ignore this behaviour,

ignore, ignore, ignore,

wait for it..................

then leap up the second she's quiet!

And the next day, do it again.

"Hey, I can't sleep in anyway,
she's growling at me,
pawing me,
smashing her cheek down on my head,
breathing hot stinky breath,
wooofing,
and giving me the eye.
Don't ask me to ignore all that!"

So, you see, the puppy has trained the Pear.
The training continues each morning
and Pear's getting quicker each day,
quick to LEAP UP to greet the dog!
