Greek Tragedy; Michael Jackson

.
Millions grieve with upwelling emotions, as real as where they stand.
.
He's dismissed as a "pop star", but that cannot deny his vast creative originality.
.
He stands firmly in his greatness, his myriad talents apparent; voice, dance, choreography, film, costume design, set design, musicality, composition, style, arrangement. Michael Jackson excelled in his art, a true prodigy/genius.
.
Artists sometimes live with a sensitivity too painful for breath. This sensitivity has a price. An artistic child with extra sense receptors; be it sight, sound, touch, hearing, or smell, is beaten and brain sensors are violently sliced and scarred, brain chemistry jarred. Continuous abuse wrecks that child. No excuses for the abused that become abusers. Just an explanation.
.
Passions in such artists are magnified. Heightened drama and beauty pour from their brains and we benefit. Our own life is presented back to us so we can feel what we could not consciously know.
.
Michael Jackson leaves cutting edge art behind. This video expression of righteous anger may be overly dramatic, but it gets an important point across. What are we doing to our planet home? Read the ending credits.
.
The subject is overwhelming. Michael Jackson not only understood and felt this human tragedy, he could educate us and help us access our own feelings. A Greek Tragedy afforded a chorus to express our emotions; Michael Jackson's work serves the same purpose. Read the credits.
