step # 3: Fini

...................................................................

How's it looking to you?

Let's face it, it's not going to fit a 2 year old.
Something's out of control!
But let's just lace the thing up.
Just zig zag the yarn around with the funny threader.
(for the stupid dental floss to fit under that stupid bridge!)

I guess it's turning out to be a big girl's sock.
(ha! get it? turning, like turning the heel, whatever that means!)

Yeah, it fits. And it's even cozy.

But how can we ever make the other one to match?

These are questions
better answered by an expert.
And, you know who you are!

I'm dazzled by the surprise pigtail/braid. By all means start a " matching " mate. The world eagerly awaits. Or perhaps you should knit a third and see which ones have something in common. Do not forgot to add crocheted ears to the first one as advised earlier today. This is exciting. Who knows what will emerge...

HaHa! YOU DID IT!
Compared to the pix I e0-mailed you of the version I knitted from your pattern, yours looks to be customized in a most wonderful way! As to the fit - hey - who cares if it doesn't fit the 2 - 3 year old. It fits YOU - even better!

Now make the other one so you can have a pair of TV-watching socks. From the beginning, I thought that bulky yarn will probably be tough to fit into a shoe, but perfect for 'lounge socks'.

HEY! Then make one for Pear = 'little pink sock'!!!!!

I'm proud of you, you're knitting socks! xo
