Two girls and a girlfriend may be surprised by pink under the tree!
Marie Antionette knew the plan:
Pink's the BEST color for the females!
Anything pink will do it for my girls!
Especially pink socks!
Santa puts pinks socks in Christmas stockings,
pink nightgowns under the tree,
the fun just never ends!

As a child I was never dressed in pink!
So uncouth!
Navy blue was basically it.
Sometimes kelly green plaid was ok as long as it had navy blue, too.
Same for red. Red was ok, but navy blue really was best.
My mom also saw white as acceptable.
White was always ok.
Cardigan sweaters were ok if they were white, blue or red.
A camel's hair coat (Was it really hair from camels? I always wondered!) was fine, too. For church or to go see great Aunt Elizabeth in Sea Cliff.
The dusty pink velveteen outfits my sister and I received for Christmas were an anomaly. My French grandmother probably had something to say about it.
Baby girls! I had 2 baby girls!

So now it's easy to Christmas shop for my daughters!
