love and giving, all apparent,
The generosity, the caring.
but no worship,
no joyful wait for Emmanuel,
no hallelujahs!

God's greatest gifts given.
Grace.
Love.
Open arms.

Thanks to the starry heavens
leading the wise to the spot,
of the lowest of births,
with animals and their keepers,
a penniless infant,
bringing hope,
life everlasting
peace beyond understanding.

Wonderful
Counselor
The Mighty God
The Everlasting Father
The Prince of Peace
