Even the good ones, even the ones that care so much.
Exhausting, life draining.
The thanks are the shining faces learning.
The caring parents.
Lifeguards in training, learn to teach.
Begin to understand how children think.
How they grow.
Lifeguards learn to push away a struggling child so they both don't drown.
Saving herself to save others.
