Too Bad for You Dearest Reader.
Too bad for you.
I am...so I ride.
Get used to it my friends.
I'm getting used to it, too.
Riding Gizmo is amazing.
We were out of control, well almost!
Have you ever caught glimpses of
Gizmo is a brother to those runners, he is as tall and as long-legged.
He didn't like me keeping him back from Trigger.
Horses are herd animals and do not want to be separated from family.
Don't do it!
I did it.
A bit of bucking (keep his head up to stay on!)
A bit of jumping around. (let him go, he wants to go!)
A 1/10th of a mile of running flat out!
Was I galloping?
Was I afraid?
Didn't know enough to be afraid.
Gizmo's trot is a canter and his canter can be a gallop.
Whatever the gait, he was FAST!
The little girl fell off last week, 1st time.
Her saddle was too loose.
She rolled into the pricker bushes.
Her badge of courage was a sore arm and scratches.
She got back on the horse.
She rode again today.
I said, "You fell and got right back on the horse?
You are so brave!
You have passed the test.
All riders fall, only some get back on!"
I almost fell on my head in beginning riding!
The wrangler caught me.
It was on sand. I wouldn't have been hurt.
But I have a story to tell with pride!
My 1st fall, almost.
And I'm proud I 'kept my seat' on Gizmo.
Proud to ride a horse who's every cell says:
"RUN! RUN!"
I'm glad that my faults are pointed out and corrected.
I never knew riding a horse needed long years of learning.
But I'm here for the duration!
Mustang or Thoroghbred...
I'm good to go!!
