I couldn't believe my eyes...the moon was huge!
My little camera can only show you a poor copy of that morning sky.
Tomorrow I'll see if I can capture the sunrise in the East. Often a pink orange on pale opalescence. You'd never believe it in a painting. No, you'd think, "That artist can't paint a sunrise to save his life."
But you'd be wrong.
Our solar system is amazing. And beautiful!

What human beings can capture on paper or canvas or,
in earlier days, on clay...even just in sand...is endless.
I've found wonderful scribbled drawings on the pad by the phone.
Travel journals serve a purpose,
but words are not the only way to remember.
A few sketches are astounding reminders of a moment or a place.
Just a bit of light and dark, highlight and shadow, delight the soul.

Please slip on some footwear to cover those tippytoes when next you venture outside to look at pretty things in the brrrrrrrrr freezing cold of the morn!
